The Diva Herself, My Beloved Phyllis Hyman

What’s Good DMV & The World!  The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area Adored Phyllis Hyman & She Loved Us.  Been Feeling Really Nostalgic to See My AmazIng Phyllis Hyman One More Time.  The Last Time I Saw Her Perform Was in Maryland at the Iconic Carter Barron Amphitheatre.   My Mommy Surprised Me & My Music-Loving Sister, Joy, With Tickets to See Phyllis.   While It Was Raining Cats & Dogs With Thunder & Lightning, Me & My Sis Still Ran to the Stage to See Phyllis’ Encore.   She Will Forever Be Missed.   Phyllis Possessed The Whole Package.   She Was Gorgeous, Talented, Statuesque, and Could Sing Her Butt Off.   Some of My Favorites From Phyllis Hyman Include: “Somewhere In My Lifetime”, “You Know How To Love Me”, And “Meet Me on the Moon.”   Phyllis, You Will Forever Be Remembered By This PGCountyGirl.  Divas Pass Away But Their Amazing Music Lives On!   ~Until Next Time My Beloved Bloggies, Daria

I have always been a Huge Fan of Usher.   And Lately, In My Eyes, Usher Has Been on Fire!   His Singles, "Climax" and "Lemme See" {Featuring Rick Ross}, Are Songs That I Play Over & Over & Over Again.   From Past Hits Such As "You Remind Me" to His Present-Day Hits, Usher Just Continually Proves That He Just Keeps Getting Better.   I Feel That Recently Usher's Personal Life Has Begun to Overshadow His Music & I Want It To Go Back to the Thing That I Have Always Loved Usher For Over The Years: The Music! ~Until Next Time, My Beloved Bloggies, Daria

Robert Glasper!

Amazing Album by the Wonderfully Talented Grammy-nominated Keyboardist Robert Glasper Experiment

Hey & Happy Thursday! Robert Glasper's Album, Black Radio, is one of those albums that I have not been able to stop listening to. Black Radio includes guest appearances from the Awesome Ledisi, the Soulful Bilal, Crucial Me'Shell Ndegeocello, Dope Musiq Soulchild, and the Melodic Lalah Hathaway, among many other Fire music artists. My Standout Favorites are Lalah Hathaway's take on Sade's "Cherish The Day", "Always Shine" by Lupe Fiasco & Bilal, and "Afro Blue", Erykah Badu's Amazing Version. If You have not gotten "Black Radio", You need to run not walk to Itunes or Amazon.com.
